oooh, I don’t recall ever having seen one of these. Great shot, I love the juxtaposition between the bright, soft inner petals and the paler, spiked outers. Is it by chance a succulent?

It is a succulent…a close cousin to the jade plant.

I believe I have every color of kalanchoe except for white and red. Need to remedy that, but actually I have no red flowers in my entire yard.

They have a red hibiscus they make a drink out of–jamaica, pronounced huh my’ cuh that is very popular in Mexico. I don’t have any of the flowers, though. (Not pronounced like the country.)
