    I laughed out lous, too. A couple years ago a neighbor texted me to ask if she should bring her peanuts to a gathering at my house. Of course autocorrect changed “peanuts” to “penis”

    – That’s why i NEVER use Auto erect!

      Ha. I couldn’t figure out the Yahtzee either, but I was hoping you’d notice this post. Right up your alley. I’ve watched it three times and absolutely howled with laughter every time.

      That’s exactly what I thought. I tried asking Siri to spell Yahtzee and she did.. Not correctly, but she tried. No mention of the “C” word. Maybe someone was talking in the background? I’ve even had Cortana pick up words to music and answer them.. Or volunteer the name of the song and the artist singing it… when I didn’t request it!

        It is to be expected that, in it’s ‘infancy’ such AI programs will have a few ‘glitches’.

        It is not all that an encouraging thought to imagine what could happen if these kinds of mishaps continue once we entrust mankind’s future and lives to the decisions of AI in our near future! 😲

        Did you read about the woman who kept getting deliveries from Amazon she had not ordered and found out that her talking parrot had managed to get stuff delivered via Alexa and Amazon’s home delivery. ( I assume the parrot memorised her credit card details?????)

          Really, this is true? I have a parrot story I’ve shared before but will do so again in case you haven’t heard it. My friend Joe was dating a woman named Uta and the first time he went to her house, he was sitting on the couch with her. Her pet parrot was on a perch nearby. When Joe moved closer and took her hand, the parrot hopped closer on his perch and said, “Uta! What are you doing?” I love that story.

            The story was repeated on our National Broadcaster’s TV news at 5 last week (which is a little odd since the story was written in 2017!)

            It was also written in The Sun newspaper from Britain so draw your own conclusions as to it’s veracity!! (The Sun has a less than dazzling reputation. 😉

            had not heard the Uts and her parrot story before.. that’s cute! 😉

              But there is some discrepancy in what her ordered. In several reports it says he ordered strawberries and other foods. In your article it just says decorative boxes…Hmmmmm. I think they staged it and are just jockeying for a free trip to some TV talk show..Suspicious mind. I’d like to believe it is true, though.

              I think in the story i saw it said the parrot had placed multiple orders – usually when the owner is not home!?

      It will work the second and third and fourth time you read it as well, Martha. I kept thinking I’d get control of myself but never did. I think we need to keep it around for when we need a good healing laugh.

      I know.. I was the same way. I simply could not control myself, even during the fourth reading. It is good to have such uncontrolled laughter. I should read it every day.
