I had to stop the car and back up to get this one. Loved everything that was going on.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

It is being built in the Raquet Club where I live. The house is constructed of bricks, then chicken wire is nailed on and the cement mixture is splatted against the wall from a trowel.. thrown hard against the wall so it sticks. Later it is smoothed over and allowed to dry… You can see all the stages of construction in the photos I will be putting up within the next two days. I was fascinated by all the textures.

What an interesting construction — I can imagine all the workers throwing cement against the brick wall! Will look forward to the rest of the construction photos!
