Road Rage
Every time I lose control, I have cause to regret it.
I only hope that friend and foe in time will just forget it.
I try to hold myself in check before I go too far.
The only time this does not work is when I’m in a car!
I rave and rant at thoughtlessness. Bad drivers I revile.
I simply must use tongue and fist to communicate my bile.
I wish I had more self-control, that my response was blander,
but somehow selfish drivers just tend to up my dander!
I have an early appointment tomorrow so need to do my post early. The only prompt ready is Your Daily Word, so it is a single prompt today. The prompt word today is control.

I’ve been in that exact spot in your photo, both geographically and emotionally, many times. I hate driving from SF to the East Bay. It’s ALWAYS jammed up.

It’s years since I’ve been in downtown LA — and even longer since I was in downtown SF. I stopped driving in SF when I realized that I had gone to the same place 5 days in a row and been lost all 5 days before I got there! You can’t get there from here!

Last time I was in the Bay Area it was overwhelming to say the least. Too many Interstates with 5 in their numbers!!!

Does it help to know that the 5 at the end of an Interstate number designates North-South freeway, while 0 at the end means East-West?

I had forgotten that, but nonetheless, too many fives! in L.A. we had the 5 and the 405 and as I recall, that was about it.

I love this one! Perfectly expresses my thoughts, minus some swear words!
