One problem is that he has been deceased for over 20 years but also I think he was more of a folk singer than a C&W singer.. Liked his music, though!!!

He wrote Country Roads. I am sure they could have just added him at the end

He did. I loved that song, but although it was about country roads, it wasn’t a C&W song. Complicated. And all of these singers were singing live…I remember when John Denver’s plane crashed into Monterey Bay.. very close to where I was living. Sad…
