It is good to have friends who know about these things and are still alive and kicking!!!

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

I share your pain on that one. The other day, I was talking to a much-younger friend who wanted to make an appointment and I was looking for my calendar. Panicked, I said, “I can’t find my phone. I have to go back into Walmart to look for it!” Her astonished answer was, “Judy, you’re talking to me on your phone!” I’m sure she has dined out on that one since…..
