Wonderful! I adore birds. We had many parakeets and a half-moon conure for many years—until I decided I could no longer bear caging a bird anymore. (She was out most of the time, but deteriorated when we had our first child—long sad story…)
We went to a lecture once about birds’ abilities to detect their own songs and those of other bird types: the numbers are staggering.
You might enjoy the book Alex and Me, by Irene M. Pepperberg about her extraordinary relationship with her gray parrot.
That was awesome! Thank you!
