Garden Distractions: FOTD Jan 24, 2021

I left my blog just before posting to go feed the dogs and cats. Then, an hour later:

trimmed back the umbrella plant from where it was interfering with traffic,
and the front planters,
found the mortar that went with the pestle,
moved the ammonite fossil from the wall ledge to the ground, where it was safer from nudgings by cats,
found the first stone Bob carved with his new air tool over 25 years ago and moved it up to the wall ledge.

    That fossil in the 3rd photo from the bottom died over 64 million years ago along with the dinosaurs. Its valuable, bring it inside before someone steals it….or better yet, give it to me😁

      Ha.. I bought it at the gem and mineral show in Tucson.. I know it is valuable. It’s inside the walls of my compound. I used to use ammonites in my work and have lots of them. This is the largest, however. A beauty.
