About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

I have had several of those because they come as part of the equipment with a new Volkswagen and fit nicely into a special place into the drivers door pocket. The neat thing is that you could grab the handle and it falls down opening up almost automatically. One morning in my office I kind of slung mine to open it. It came apart and part of it went flying across the room like a parachute… I thought my secretary would fall out of her chair laughing at me and my dumb action. (what a put down~!)

Ha! I have a small fan that does that.. just thin material on a circular wire that uncoils when you take it out of the pouch. If I’m not careful it launches itself, frizbee-like. It can cause some startled reactions.
