My favorite is the one of the beautiful lady sitting on the curb which reminds me so much of the Aboriginal social stratification of an innocent and beautiful people, that I came to love each time I saw or met them. The one of the grackle or gackle did not impress me very much, because I never could come to like them, but it takes all kinds to make up this great world, they can’t all be beautiful ladies, Red Birds or even painted buntings. PS: there is a town in North Dakota named Gackle, I think that I may know how it came by it’s name…

Actually you could get a cup of chica at every Ciudad Central
of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense. I don’t remember if I ever had it fermented. But I just looked it up and I am going to try to make it.. Easier that making Cenezo out of all those plants I having growing in my yard. https://www.mycolombianrecipes.com/chicha-de-maiz-corn-drink/
