Tonight’s supper.
This is one of the blooms on a huge hibiscus tree.
And this is the seed pod on a tree. Almost as beautiful as the flower.
The trails you see on the mountains are the sites of rock slides.
And this is where the rocks wound up–in the Raquet Club where I live. These are stones they have yet to clear away from the roads.
In case you are still wondering, this is what the man was doing standing out in the lake.

Lots of wonderful shots here showing us where you live, how your community is drawn to the malecon. But that panorama shot near the end, with that golden cloud bank filling the sky, is just magnificent!

Yeah. The sunsets have been amazing. There was one incredible cloud I didn’t take a photo of last night that I wish I had. I got some fun shots of Agustin’s grandkids.. I should have included them here. Maybe I’ll do a different post of them. The malecon was pretty empty tonight. Last night it was jam packed!!!

If I’m feeling a bit down or sluggish, nothing like a walk on the malecon or up the mountain to set me aright. So much life in both places.. on the mountain it is all wildlife, but on the malecon it is a mixture.

That’s a lovely walk — Monday would be quieter than the weekend most weeks, I would imagine! Love the sunsets, and the hibiscus!

I used to walk on the lakeshore every morning. Now I have started doing it just before and during sunset.

Such wonderful colors everywhere both in nature and in the human community. The color of the sunlight is so rich there.

A good varied selection, but no captions?

Did you click on the photos, Derrick? When the photos enlarge, there are captions underneath the ones that I thought needed them.

They make full use of the lakefront. Unfortunately, many are not very good at disposing of their trash in the containers provided.
