My sister Patti sent me this photo to prove that I was actually at the school reunion as well. Since she took this photo, I am actually in it.
And here are some photos taken at the LandMark Motel the day after the reunion, when my family collected to bury my sister Batty Jo’s Ashes in the family plot in the Murdo Cemetery.
Why am I wearing those funny lips? Because I wanted to smile and this is what I would have looked like if I had:
I’d lost a crown the last night of the reunion when I tried to open a packet of sour cream with my teeth in the Buffalo Restaurant and Bar. I managed to replace it with a small strip torn off a polident strip but alas ended up forgetting and crunching down on it when I took a bite of muffin this morning and it was crushed into disuse. Below is how I lookedin a family photo when I remembered to close my mouth when I smiled:
Tomorrow, back to Sheridan and an emergency visit to Patti’s dentist.
Ha~! I did the same crown thing at the same location..and here it takes weeks to get an appointment, so I would not take a photo of it, but those fake lips are a worse turnoff~! I love corn on the cob but should not eat it. I may just go to another dentist…Not the one that put that damn thing on~!

Better go to Mexico. Cheaper and good dentists.

Tempted, the crown that came off was done by a woman who messed up my mouth~! Then they ran her off, she is now in North Carolina~! Probably better in Mexico and I could get to visit family and friends. Looking for a trip about October.

My dentist referred me to an endodontist to see if I need a root canal — he recommended holding off unless the tooth causes me pain, which it now does ONLY when the dentist uses her probe in the cleaning process! Looks like 2 good reunionx!

You’re beautiful inside and out! Thanks for a fun time in the back seat with you. Candy made it all the sweeter! Our big lips made it all lip smacking good.
I don’t know what I am saying but the pictures you took bring it all to life. Thanks for sharing the best time! Patti was the perfect driver in the perfect car, also.

Judy, you look adorable with funny lips, but temp fillings and crowns cost pennies in every pharmacy and work reasonably well.

Except there was no drug store within 60 miles of my home town.. I had to wait until I got to Sheridan and my sister insisted I get a new crown so I complied.. They made one within 1 1/2 hours but very expensive. Oh well.

A Russian writer of satiric novels suggested breaking a doll’s tooth and fixing it in place with something soft and edible. I suppose you didn’t have any dolls around, either.

Nah and anything edible wouldn’t have survived for long.
