Clouds

Clouds

Do you see the man in a fedora  with his back to you,
staring at a woman in the distance
with her arms around a giant heart,
or perhaps it is a man
she is reaching up for…

or it is a dog      jumping up
as though enjoying him
in Braille.

Can you see the things I see?
The woman exploding      into glorious light
and a grumpy schoolteacher.
These are not things of any significance,
just things caught in the clouds.
If you don’t believe me, look for yourself.
There are worlds there for your investigation.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

I see a man, in overcoat and hat, walking away as he adjusts his hat/fedora? Behind, I see the ‘building up speed’ hunting lion – while from above, a fluffy kitten or Furbee (LOL) eyes wide, says, “Oh MY! Look at that! Will he see in time? Will the lion swerve? Will the man realize what he turned his back on, when maybe, he shouldn’t have?? What will happen next????” But then, cloud watching is such a fun way to share ourselves with others, but also, to explore ourselves, as well – love this post!

It is so strange, but tonight I can’t see anything in the cloud…even what I saw before. I’m going to come back later and see if the visions return….It’s been a busy day and I’m so tired. I think that is affecting me. I’ll let you know when I come back and see what you see.

No worries! Rest – sleep tight – and sometimes? i personally believe, we see what we needed to see at the moment and when we no longer need to/want to? We aren’t certain how we ever saw that before – Cloud watching – together under wide open skies or in art or photos is, to me, fun, and a ‘community building’ exercise, none the less – even if later – we question how/where we saw that then – but only when some preserved a ‘captured in time’ moment, to begin with – 😀 But yes, I clearly saw the man in the hat – whether the same one you saw or not – I cannot say – 😀
