Sam has asked what tree we would choose to be and perhaps this is fudging a bit, but this is a poem I wrote a few years ago about the tree I am no doubt fated to become:
Fallen Woman
For Sam’s prompt: https://mcouvillion.wordpress.com/2023/01/01/which-tree-would-you-be/
I really love this one!

Yes that one is great and qualifies as our first interesting response to the challenge.. Kind of reminds me of what I tried to write about a week or so back about my own family tree, except not so harsh on myself~! I hope others take up the challenge. It will bring out more interesting facts about the person replying~! (maybe~!)

Amazing how you do these concrete poems. I’ve never tried one, but then I seldom write poetry in any case. I’m glad you do.

It’s fun to play with the shape but time-consuming so I don’t often do it.
