Zoe Has a Boyfriend

Friends Chris and Sherry came to visit with their friends who had mother-and-son pugs.  Look at the photos. Need I say more? Their boy fell in love with Zoe. The five pups had a wonderful time charging around the yard and socializing with their humans.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

LOVE IT, They both look like they want to run and play together I like the “smile” the Pug has~! Tami sees so few other dogs out here that she too has a fit when she sees one. A couple of days back I took her to Home Depot and she rides in the basket while I shop. But there was a woman with a very large dog and they both had a barking fit (both dogs), not the woman and her dog, she only scowled at me, and Tami~! I had to turn around and go up another isle to get away from the confrontation.. It looks like Zoe calm like Tami is except when the other dog starts a barking session.

I remember being so silly that my sister’s visiting boyfriend said he thought perhaps it was time for him to go home…He lived in another state. I think I was standing up on a chair singing opera…

Yes, I did but It probably helped me a lot that I learned survival skills early on. I’ve had some fantastic years — decades even — and I don’t regret anything, even the bad stuff. Because it’s all part of making you who you are. Good and bad, it’s all learning and growth.

Not everyone does survive. My sister didn’t make it. My brother survived only to be taken down by cancer before he had a chance to fully develop. Somehow, I managed to squeak through and I have no idea how or why, I’m just glad of the three kids, at least one of us made it to “old.”

If you look at it the right way, OLD is an achievement!
