Finally found my glasses!

Photogray, progressive lenses. So far my little darling Zoe has destroyed $1200 worth of glasses. Found these hanging on a bush. I’ve been looking for them for two weeks.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

Time to find a new place to keep the glasses! btw, I just got 4 pairs at Costco for $420 — bifocals, bifocal computer, reading, and dark glasses.

Oh I hear you~! I had a dog that ate (chewed up) my hearing aid. Still loved him though and would you believe the company gave me a new one~! I have tried to teach Tami that there are some things she must not put into her mouth. Among them is treats that the Bank Teller offers her, another is my very expensive hearing aids which some times fall out on the bed when I fall asleep watching TV. I think that they smell your aroma on an item and actually think that it is a part of you so must not be “interdit”~!

    Search for this on Google

I had that same thought. I put mine in their case on my desk or in a covered basket next to my bed but I think perhaps I must have put them on the metal chest beside the pool as I swam and forgot to take them in. Can’t think of where else she could have gotten to them. Every single part was chewed off–nose rests, ear rests, one arm and the other horribly masticated and twisted… plus the lenses. She had a good time. My sister will be horrified, but in spite of the devastation, I am crazy about these little monsters and the space in my heart they fill makes up for the empty pocketbook they sometimes cause.
