1. What is Mascarpone (From Judy) Cornbread sullied by eye makeup. It was a rushed morning!!! ( That is, I had to apply my eye makeup while I was eating my breakfast.)
2. What is a Marsupial? Similar to chowder served on a space mission.
3. What is a Giblet? A baby gibbon.
4. What is Good Husbandry? Doing the dishes and taking out the garbage.
5. What is Onomatopoeia? What John Lennon said to his wife as he walked into her room in search of his freshly ironed shirt. (Work for it. It’s there!)
6. What is a Glaucus Atlanticus? A gelatinous sea scum sometimes found off the eastern shore of the United States
7. What is a Sunda Colugo? What they call Santa Claus in the Congo
8. What is a Fossa? The petrified remains of a prehistoric sea creature found near Boston.
9. What is Halitrephes Jelly? A lubricant combined with a mouth wash.
10. What is Aliferous? Chant voiced by Cassius Clay’s supporters after he changed his name.
These questions were for Fibbing Friday. Who am I to resist a legitimate fib??? Do you like my new hairdo and my new eyeglasses? Both are a real improvement to my life. Hair off my neck and reading glasses with no Zoe chew marks on the lenses. I’m taking care to always put them in a stiff-hinged case inside a covered basket on my bedside table before I fall asleep so Zoe can’t drag them off down into the garden when she wakes up before I do.

Well done, once more. Ono did take a bit of work. Brilliant

Derrick, that is very insightful of you. I had a totally different one for that definition and ended up changing it. I take it you meant work for you to “get” it but it was equally as hard for me to come up with it. Thanks for sticking with it.

I know. It will help others to have your division of the Ono one. Well done!!!! I think this was the hardest one to do so far. And, therefore fun….

Oh~! You figured that one out right away~! I guess the polysemy of my morpheme was not hidden well enough~! (now, do something with those two words.)
It would be fun sitting with you, in your garden, to see which one of us could out do the other. My children have known me too long, and now the only reaction I get out of them is the expression: “Oooh Daad~! ! ! ”
What a great idea, a polysematic poem~! Would it work~? The fact is that I often do that, in ignorance, rather than on purpose~!
