About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

I am stunned by what you’ve done. What gorgeous kids. Grand masks. The show! Once a teacher, always…. Shredded bed and snaggle tooth added to the hilarity. You are really something.

The masks…all true works of art. I thought you had.you were carrying them and they got wet…but it didn’t hurt them at all.

No they were all on tables in a covered area. They were just a bit limp from the humidity but all dried out quickly once the sun came out. We’re at a high altitude so things dry very quickly.

You have a magical way with children, always have had. And with people in general. The masks and the children were most wondrous. I’m glad the dampness didn’t hurt those masks. Brilliant.

Very sweet of you to say so. I like working with kids but must admit by the end of the day, I’m exhausted. I seem to be losing my ability to multitask.

No, we’ve had less rain this year than any time in history, I believe. We’ve had maybe 4 or 5 good rains whereas we usually have heavy rains every day in June and July and some in August…It is amazing. And record high temperatures.
