The Night Before the Eclipse

Looking up to take these photos, I felt I was in a dream world.

Such an eerie night. I ended up going out late in the evening to exercise in the pool which was hot from being filled during the day.  This is the sight that greeted me…plus a shot from late afternoon/early evening. Can’t decide which I like best, although I did delete 4. Help me decide? I like the sense of distance in the first shot of the gallery, but like the clouds in the first main shot and  second gallery shot. They seem to actually wrap around the trees.

      I guess I made that choice as well when I decided to choose one to feature. What a surreal hour that was and I was amazed that the photos turned out as I used no special tricks and often they turn out just being pitch black or having odd swirls in the sky or strange colors or lights when taken at night. I loved how these came out. They perfectly reflected the mood. I’m commenting on the sky, not my prowess as I just clicked the camera.

      The third is also the first. I put it separately at the beginning because WP kept putting the other one first…It looks like the tree is actually in the clouds as part of the cloud seems to be behind it and part in front. Eerie..Are you getting these comments when I answer you?
