My Oldest and Favorite Xmas Tree Ornaments, For Wordless Wednesday

The blue plastic bird, circa 1947 or earlier. On every Xmas tree I ever remember while growing up. The gold silk horse and knitted baby doll purchased in China, 1967. They’ve been on every tree I’ve ever decorated!!!

For Wordless Wed.

Oh I have a lot of doves like the first photo in porcelain that my mother did and we used on our Christmas tree for years. I also have a little stuffed and stitched animal that a great friend sent me from Mexico that I value very much. But I don’t even have a Christmas tree this year. Thanks to a very bad winter followed by a terrible summer, my little Kumquat tree that i have used the past few years is just not in good condition. So I am here just feeling sorry for myself, but then I do have two great kids and two great grand kids with hundreds of family and friends, so what else can a person ask for. Well,,,,,,,,If only some of them lived closer, but my phone will be busy on Christmas day. Hope you have a great one~!
Now I am going upstairs to dig in those Christmas things to see if I can find some to those hand made ornaments, I know it is too late for you, but maybe I will make it in time for next Christmas.
