One way to get cool in a heat wave.

I mentioned in an earlier post that we are supposed to have another month of temps getting up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit (46 Celsius) here in Mexico. We all want it to cool off, but this is a bit too much of a solution.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

Oh wow, Sadje. That trumps our 46.11 C !!! Is this usual for you? Do you have air conditioning? To answer your possible question, no, we don’t. I’m out on the terrace right now and it is cool and overcast so far. It will heat up soon, I’m sure.

We are getting crazy weather here too this year. I hope the rain keeps on coming but just want them not to bring bad storms. Supposed to be up in the 90’s today.

Are you now able to assess my blog again, it is supposed to be fixed~?

I’ll see, Sam…Did you post on it? I haven’t checked Notifications. Adding one doggie to figuring out how to work it so none of them finish faster and go eat the food of the others is tricky but I think I have figured it out. Shye is fitting in well. Slept with three dogs last night and each found a place affording me the necessary space as well..I am now outside writing this and can hear a woodpecker pecking away industriously. Trying to figure out where it is.

We’re flirting with 70 (F) these days. The marine layer mercifully comes in shortly after dark, and doesn’t clear until noon. I hope it stays that way for a while!
