Happy Medium
I’m no rocket scientist,
but neither do I drool.
I once was an icon––
valedictorian in my school.
Living on a pension,
spending most days on my couch,
I’ve kept my sense of humor
and not become a grouch!!!

I love your sofa — I left one like it in CA. I know the feeling in this poem. It’s got an upside, but sometimes it gets to me.

Your sofa looks very comfortable and hey, we are all racing along in the slow lane these days. We have taken to watching comedies. ONLY comedies.
