Welcome to “The Numbers Game #96”. Today’s number is 218. To play along, go to your photos file folder and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title. This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Here are my contributions to the album.

What an interesting group of photos. If we were face-to-face, I’d ask questions about every one. Must ask about the bell though. Was it covered by yarn? And the monkey with the long tail? At first I thought it was a colobus monkey, but I don’t think they have long tails…Great set!!

I think it was yarn/wool. It is long ago. I believe it was in Wolgast in northeast Germany.
You are right with the colobus, they have long tails.

Eclectic mix – love the one of the dog gazing at the ball in the pool

Yes. He was very enamored of that ball. He would bat it out at me or whomever else was in the pool with his nose. We’d push it back to the edge of the pool with our hands and he’d bat it back with his nose again. He could go on for as long as we could.

My two littlest dogs aren’t, though. If I throw a ball for them, they just look at me questioningly as though they are saying, “So why’d you throw your ball away?” Ha. Only time they go after it is to take it away from Morrie, the big dog. Then they take it away and hide it. Someone neglected their doggie education.

You usual varied set. The dog wondering how he was going to get the ball made me smile

Yes..It must have the right combination of numbers. I think it has come up at least twice before. I can’t resist showing it when it does. There are other photos that come up constantly. Like the ones of the kid doin acrobatics in the water. I think it is because I took multiple images so even though they seem to be the same images, they aren’t. Or, some images like to come up so just shove their way in.

Same here. I try not to put the same photo in more than once unless like Morrie, you have to 😁

Great collection Judy. My favorites are the boat crossing your wake, the palm trees at night, and of course Morrie and the ball. Here’s mine today: https://grahamsisland.com/2025/10/28/the-numbers-game-96/
