Some people call these “black-eyed Susans” although that is not really their name. They are thunbergias, but not the big purple or blue Thunbergia Grandiflora. Both, however, like to travel.

These are the vines that are taking over my upper garden. They’ve totally smothered the bougainvillea in the center of the yard.

Hibiscus Flowers: FOTD Nov. 1, 2021

Yesterday I showed a photo of a hibiscus flower and said there were four different colors of flowers on the bush. Here is the proof of it. The last flower is the one I published yesterday as well. Amazing. I don’t think it is grafted. I just think this is this bush’s “thang.”

I’ve already forgotten the name of this newest plant in my garden, but it keeps on producing beautiful blooms. No time to look it up now, but I’ll identify it when I get home this afternoon.
