Mexico Memories. Definitely not a shot taken in Missouri, because this is what it looks like here this morning:

That takes me back…watching my kids trying to make a snowman with the first snow! ☺️

Thanks to my zoom lens. They were actually a half block away and I just happened to spot them when I went out on the porch to get a photo. I didn’t know they were building a snowman until I got in and put the photo on my computer to see what I’d captured. I was looking for a photo of a snowman the other day and couldn’t find one. Now I can’t remember what I wanted it for.

I think somehow we’ve gone from July to January and missed autumn!

There was a bit of autumn here. Witness the snow-covered pumpkin on the stoop–vestiges of Halloween or hints of Thanksgiving.

I took a photo almost identical to this 3 days ago!
Today it was 36 deg C ( 97F).
Definitely not Missoura. 🙂

Now how does an Aussie come to know how to pronounce Missouri like a local?

That’d be tellin’. 😉
I will say that i have never even stepped foot in America though, nor to the best of my knowledge have i met a Missouran. 🙂

I was just enjoying the contradictions between the two pictures. It’s snowy here, too.

Just dull smoky gray here..temp. inversion or burning of the cotton fields? We can’t tell. Or perhaps fog. We are in the car, driving to St. Louis to catch the plane back to Mexico tomorrow. Early flight so we’ll spend the night there. This visit went soooo fast.
