I love bougainvillea~! Have you ever been to Maracaibo, Venezuela~? Along that lake front is bougainvillea of every color possible growing wild. We also had bougainvillea across and covering the front of the gallery of our villa in Algeria. Problem there is it did not like me and reached out to grab me as I walked by. The interesting part is we are actually looking at the colored leaves and not noticing the real flower which in itself is delicate.
