Gorgeious photos, Judy…puts one in a festive, “I love life” kind of mood!

The feria, over today, put me in this same mood, Cynthia. Glad some of it transferred to you via the pictures. Everyone seemed pretty happy there.

Totally flamboyant and full of expressions. Loved the variety.

You have a definitely knack for capturing expressions, for grabbing the moment. Have you tried real street photography? I bet you’d be really good at it! Maybe great, even.

I did a bit of it at the feria, where everyone agreed to be photographed. It was so busy but every once in a while I grabbed my camera and shot a few. We had a resounding success. We sold every item except for 4 and broke all records in sales!! Today was fantastic. We made over 87,000 pesos for next year’s feria and sold an excess of 100 items in three days. I think we sold 1/2 of them today.(I was coordinator of the Artists in Support of the Feria booth.) We collected a piece from each of the 100 Mexican artists in the show and sold them to raise money for next year’s Feria. We pay for all their transportation and shipping, provide all their meals and lodging and charge no fees. All we ask is that they each donate one item for the Red Cross raffle and one to sell in the ASF booth. The feria is a unique experience…such a feeling of good will and such a well-oiled machine. Music, food, top artisans from all over Mexico and hundreds of volunteers that work so cheerfully and efficiently. A wonderful experience.

But…no one commented on the last picture? I thought it was a hoot.

Ha. You are the only one who seems to have noticed that odd little piece. It would be a perfect revenge, wouldn’t it?
