I think so, too. Perhaps the most colorful country and house! Another bright room just added.

When I was camping in the Czech Republic one activity was to gather leaves to make tea with; the winner was wild blackberry. I really like the flavor of hibiscus/Jamaica. Here in New Mexico we drink “Indian tea” made from the stems of the cota plant aka Greenthread (Thelesperma spp.) an herb used to make a beverage tea-sometimes used medicinally-by several Native American tribes, particularly those in the southwest. It looks funny but really tastes good.

It is literally bunches of dried stems & flowers tied in bundles. I’ll send a photo – don’t know how to put one here.

I posted the Cota photo, and also a Mexican mugs one (separately)

I couldn’t see the mugs, Stan. The Cota bundle looked like a bruja bundle!

Magic tea; my Pueblo Indian friends gather it in their yards. I can also buy it in the Yerberia Juarez down the road. We have a lot of Mexican stores in Albuquerque.
And Stan was my father; I’m Barbara. He’s the one I have to write about.

If we really had hibiscus out here, they would be one of my favorite flowers. The only ones I have seen and photographed here are in nurseries.
