Comfortable Mortality
After living my life, I must pay the price,
but I don’t want to die by fire or ice.
Not toasted by flames or frosted with snow.
A temperate death is the best way to go.
The prompt today was “Flames.”

And healthy, of course. Everybody wants to die healthy. No nursing home, no dementia, no painful cancer. Just quietly in my sleep — don’t even wake me up. 🙂

Temperate way to go. I’m not sure what that means, but it sound really good.

Judy, you’re cheerful today. Whether my demise is sooner or later I cannot see it being temperate, I never calm down when anything exciting happens! ☺ Anton

I’m just thinking in term of comfortable. I’ve been cold and wet all day but we killed it in terms of sales–beat all records in both sales and the fact that we sold every item. So not, I prefer my climate to be temperate for the rest of the night at least but alas, my house is cold and no central heat.
