Hint: It will be much easier to see enlarged photos and captions if you click on “Visit” and then click on first photo to enlarge these photos.  If you are viewing in Reader or on Facebook and just click on the first photo instead of on “Visit,” photos will be smaller and captions unreadable as they will be superimposed over the photos.

Now that she’s gone, perhaps I can do a little sleuthing.

Nothing slanderous, I guess.

Out here is where she keeps the dogs, but no fun baiting them today. They must be sleeping.
Guess I’ll just hang out here and wait for her to get home. G-day, Ollie.

    They are adorable, but I can see how you might feel “over-catted.” At some point in my past life, I think we had five cats, but not in one bunch. They sort of arrived one at a time until one day, we realized we had about three cats too many.

        I once spent a weekend with a family who had one cat. By arrangement, I reached their home before they did — they’d been gone for a few days. The cat welcomed me effusively, and didn’t even say hello to the family until I had left — it was my cat for that weekend, simply because I got there first. When you come home, they may not recognize you for a little while, but as soon as you give them some love and some food, they’ll be yours again!

          Hope so. Thanks, Janet. I have a cat I’d had for 9 years or so who abandoned me and moved in with the neighbors when Diego arrived. She visited for awhile, then never again. They called me a year ago and said she was dying. I went to their house and although they said she hadn’t moved from her bed for the past few days, even to eat, when she heard my voice she got up and came from the other room and came up to me. I held her for a half hour or so. She died later on that day. RIP Talulah…
