I just asked Siri how to spell faux pas and my iPhone and computer both answered in chorus–perfectly synched. I’d ask them how to spell synched, but I’m afraid they’d get in a fight.

HA! Hilarious! (Looks like Mac is starting to raise its spacebar to smack iPhone.)

Did they at least give you the right answer?

Yes.. both of them the exact same answer in tandem. See my comment to Janet (Simret) about the time my PC got in the action as well, eavesdropping!!!

Haha — I don’t often visualize, but the visual of a fight between Mac and iPhone is most amusing! I wonder, too, if they would synch that answer too!

They’ve said some funny things. I have a PC also and when Cortana hears me talking to Siri, she will answer, too, and tell me I have her name wrong! If the Smart TV starts chiming in as well, I’m pulling some plugs.

Haha! Shame on you for getting Cortana’s name wrong! No wonder you were afraid of device fights!

I wasn’t talking to her. Didn’t even know she was on. She overheard me talking to my Mac!!! Ha.

She can’t help it. She was born to listen in!!!

You should really instigate a fight among all of them and then sit down and watch. My husband’s phone understands his Russian, but not his English, and my husband, who came here as a child, cannot even read Russian!

Ha.. so hope she knows to talk, not write.

You got ‘sychned” mostly right… it’s ‘synced” hun. No ‘H” required. 😉 (yeah, I’m one of THOSE people..”

Hi MBC..The dictionary I looked in gave sync as present tense, synched as past tense and synching as continuous..but I see others give synced as most often used but synched as correct as well. Both look weird to moi. I always appreciate having typos and spelling snafus pointed out, so thanks…
