A perfect specimen!

They are the hardest flower to photograph. There is something about the flatness and the bright color that makes it impossible to get much detail. I’ve tried time and again. Perhaps when my new camera arrives, I’ll have better results. These flowers are not very big and perhaps that’s part of the problem. I do love them, though. Don’t know why as they are pretty much plain Janes in the world of flowers. They are just so insistent–popping up everywhere and winding their way around things. Like a needy child who demands your attention, I have to give it to them.

These are the simplest of flowers, but they intrigue me. 😀
