Rechanneling Cheer
Scribbling Christmas cards, messaging cheer
is surely the norm for this time of year,
but I think there’s something that is more seasonable,
touching more lives, and also more reasonable.
Hold back petty arguments. Cease the derision.
Why not put Christmas in every decision?
For dVerse poets quadrille prompt, Cheer.

Nice thought

Sadly, it seems so many of us can no longer even put Christ mas in Christmas Time? 😦
(I love the ‘fat santa’ in the round silver bauble). 🙂
Merry Christmas!, or whatever your personal December Solstice tradition might be?
– That’s going to be my new PC season’s greeting from now on – Happy December Solstice!

Yes, it would be great if people carried the joy of Christmas into their lives and brought light rather than division and criticism!

Damn I like that Judy! “…put Christmas in every decision!” Wouldn’t the world be a kinder, gentler place. Love this… 🙂

Thanks, Rob. I’m not always successful at that. Most of these poems are reminders to myself. Poet, teach thyself.
