No matter how much we want to bury our heads in the sand, it grows ever more important that we don’t.
Forgottenman has Beau’s latest speech on how scary things are getting in our nation. No matter what side of the issue you are on, you need to hear his talk HERE.
I listened. But I’m not who should be listening. I agree. I have always agreed as does Garry and most of us who gather on WordPress and write and talk and all of that. Who IS listening? I think we listen to that with which we already agree and no one listens to the rest. To be fair, I can’t listen to them, those others. It makes me ill. But here we have a split so huge that you have to wonder how or if it will ever be healed.
I’m an air force vet. I didn’t die for this country, but during my ten years on the flightline I would have. From the get go I thought Trump was not the man who should occupy the oval office, but now he is and we have to deal with what him. How? I don’t know.
I’m an old man. I won’t have to deal with him and the damage he’s done. But I have kids, grands and great-grands who will.
And what they’ve done re/ cutting programs and funds for vets is definitely not making America Great Again. Nor is it honoring those who tried to help do so. Their patriotism carries as much truth as most of his words.
