I can’t seem to get a photo that does this Royal Poinciana tree in the front yard of my house justice. The sun was too bright this morning. I’ll try again this afternoon.
It’s only negative feature is that it is messy when the petals begin to fall. Here they are, above and below. Click on photos to enlarge.
For Cee’s FOTD.
Such a beautiful tree, and I love the paint job on your house!

It’s a beautiful tree! Maybe a little messy, but great shade, and it adds color to the house! The paint is wonderful — your painter is almost as artistic as you are!

I do, too, Sadje. Every year I desire brighter colors, but I’ve about reached the apex.

True, Leland. I was infected by the Mexican Color bug when I moved and every year my infection got worse.. or better, depending on how you look at it. Color abounds.

Thanks, Marion. Does that mean I don’t have to go out and take another photo? Yearn for the hammock…
Oops this never sent. It is 6 hours later, I’ve had a nap, and never did go out to rephotograph..I’ll use you as my excuse.
