Fresh Crop: Newest Hibiscus FOTD June 5, 2020

This is another first blooming of my newest hibiscus–just a baby as you can see by its proximity to the ground. It is just as fertile as the others, as you can see by today’s bloom. I just can’t stop buying hibiscus. My only vice. (?)

        Never fear — several years ago I had quite a collection of dendrobium orchid plants — I’d like to replace them as soon as life is more open, but maybe have to wait till next spring. It was somewhat excessive, too!

      I love this one as well. They are very similar to my Spanish Dancers which have grown into a bush far above my head..Perhaps when it gets bigger I will find they are identical. For now I am enjoying having it below eye level where I can observe it closely.. and in a new spot where there wasn’t much color before.
