I guess those are all US candies, right? I haven’t heard of any, but I did enjoy my Twinkie bar when I was over there. And we can get Hershey’s here (but I always thought it was awful!)

I guess the Mars family of products are the same here, but I can’t remember anything else being the same. On the contrary, at least if you visited here you’d be able to get hold of your favourite chocolate. 🤣 And I’m sure you’d have no problem with shops running out of stock either, ‘cos I can’t imagine anyone else eating the stuff 🤣🤣🤣

Cruel….I don’t run down your Cadbury’s, Mr. Bump, which I was once rather fond of as well. Right now, no chocolate for me. Dieting.

Just these last 6 months, wife has lost about 20lbs on something called Michael Mosely diet.
I always used to prefer dark chocolate (preferably French) but my taste buds changed and I now like milk. But I’m diabetic so if I have some, it’s, like, a quarter ounce.

I looked up the Fast 800 diet. Is that the one your wife is on? So many diets… so many lbs. to lose and chocolate is, of course, the enemy, so what am I doing sticking up for it?

I don’t take much note but I think it was low carb. I know years ago she had some success with the Atkins DSiet as well. She tends to crash diet then gradually put it back on.

You know Hershey’s and Mars are two different companies, right? I like Hershey’s because it is a darker chocolate. With almonds, even better. Why am I talking so much about candy? Probably because I can’t have any of it right now…

Yeah we’ve had Mars forever here. Snickers used to be Marathons and Starburst used to be Opal Fruits. I guess Hersheys was more recent – I don’t remember it being around as a boy.

Hershey’s is the older company. Mars used to buy its chocolate from them but they are now big rivals.
