Succulents: Flower of the Day, Sept 6, 2021

Snapped this shot of an unidentified succulent in my friend Dianne’s garden. Luckily, she also gave me a few cuttings so you’ll soon see it in my own garden.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

Sorry I apologize~! I was thinking that maybe you got these while on vacation… I am trying to put together more succulent for my little window planters. I now have them on several inside windows that the cats can’t access. But then saw the hanging plant on that beautiful pole. I have burrow tail, but never planted it so that it would cascade… I will try that, it is not very spectacular just standing up and leaning over. The nurse at my doctors office has a nice collection of succulents and each time I go there she pinches off a few cuttings for me. Fun to propagate. Today would have been my sister Tee’s birthday, I was told that you are getting a lot of rain (and flooding) down there.
