Breaking In
Last night I was with two talkative friends who just wouldn’t stop talking. I had a very interesting anecdote that had happened to me that I wanted to tell but I could not find a break in the conversation. I kept even trying to interrupt but no matter what I did, they just kept on talking, talking, talking, talking. It was so frustrating and finally I just said, “Stop! I have a really interesting thing to tell you but you need to stop long enough for me to tell it!!!!!”
It was at that point that I woke up and realized the book I’d been listening to as I fell asleep had been playing all night and it was unlikely that any of the characters were going to stop talking long enough for me to join in the conversation. I shut the lid on my computer and fell back asleep and by the time I woke up to the kitty’s pleas for breakfast, I could no longer remember the interesting story I was so anxious to share!!!!!

Haha! So interesting, the dream merging into reality

This is at least the second time this happened but can’t remember the details of the first. Although, I remember one from when I was a pre-teen. I was brushing my teeth in my dream and I woke up just as I was spitting on my pillow!!!!

I don’t remember my dreams at all.

Haha — so many times I’ve fallen asleep to the TV, and wakened hours later to “Breaking News!”

LOL! I love this! Hey, I want to share something that happened to me yesterday that reminded me of what you were saying in your youtube presentation. I like to save fortunes from fortune cookies too but usually they are just laying around here and there. I was trying to decide whether I should have dinner and postpone my bike ride until the morning or not. I had decided to postpone the bike ride and put my dinner in the microwave. Looking on the counter I noticed a fortune from take-out a few weeks ago and picked it up. It said: “Stalling could sour your fantasy (which for me meant to get skinny again and start dating again.) Start that travel adventure (which to mean means the bike ride to get skinny again…) with gusto. The message was clear. I ate my dinner and then had a very enjoyable bike ride afterwards.

p.s. quotation mark should be after gusto.

I very often intertwine the TV, or music, into in my dreams. It is very vivid and can make for a strange dream.

That’s hilarious! I’ve been feeling that way a lot lately in social situations, I think everyone has been isolated for so long, everyone just wants to talk!

But the very best conversationalists stop in the right places or ask questions to encourage others to speak as well.
