My birthday stretched out for five days this year. To read about it, you need to click on the photos to read the captions.
June 29: Brad made his famous Caesar salad and he and Kate came over with Blue to celebrate an early Birthday. And yes, there was cake.
July 2: Then I celebrated with Harriet and Blue over Italian food complete with tiramisu with birthday candle,
and Harriet gave me this Magnetic Poetry Kit. Here is the poetry kit installed on my fridge. It took about 2 hours to do so!
Appropriate for a ?th birthday???
Later I went for a walk on the SJC Malecon
I love this tree. A certain beauty to the graffiti.
July 3: And this morning I had some special visitors.Yolanda, who escaped the camera, and Yoli, her daughter
Emilia, Yolanda’s pretty new daughter-in-law,
and Emilia’s sister Jenny,
They came bearing gifts. First, these gorgeous flowers,

This was at Sergio and David’s house next door.
And yes, there was a third birthday cake with a very subtle candle. How old am I? No one mentioned it.
David always makes his own recycled birthday cards. Here is this year’s:

I’ll bet all those candles warmed your deserving heart. Sounds like much love gifting around you, well dessert-ed (I mean deSERVED, of course!) XO! from Glen & Mar, from the still chill North

I only had two candles, actually. One was a question mark and the other a single candle, so no one got sunburn from my candles this year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUDY – I may be the last to wish you a happy birthday but I bet I am the first to wish you a happy 4th~!
It looks like you made the best of it, and NO you do not need Naval Jelly or even Rust-Oleum, you seem to be doing fine just as you are. When people move around as much and as fast as you do, age takes care of itself and you seem to be doing very well from what I see on the photos.. I feel that, in doing so, the package may become frayed but the ‘gift inside’ (our brain) stays fresh. Thanks for that almost rotogravure of your celebrations. Not as good as my being there, but I enjoyed seeing you celebrating.
I have a post that I am working on this morning, which I have not yet decided whether or not to send out to the ‘masses’ , – because they may take me for being lame brained. Some of these things I just write and then put into my “keep file”; or only send it privately to close friends.
If you missed it in all of your celebrating, it is an addendum or continuation to this post with the addition of something that happened to me just last night, or very early this morning and it also involves a real old movie, and also Jane Austin and her final novel “Persuasion”~! To me very interesting.

You probably noticed in my writing that there are times when I seem to have mental telepathy or even a ghost in my life and includes a possible belief in Psychic and Paranormal Phenomena. Strange things do happen to me at times~! And last night was one of these~!
I hope you are looking forward to a fine trip north, weather and politics be damned. I am looking forward to your writing along the way.
