Thalassic Theorem
Salty sea air and grainy sand
went great with sun and being tanned.
Their memory swirls within my head
as I prepare myself for bed.
But I do not wax nostalgic, for I find behind each knee,
in my pockets, luggage and the floor, the beach came home with me!
For the Weekend Writing Prompt: Thalassic (of the sea) write a poem or story of exactly 50 words making use of the word Thalassic.

Indeed. Sand everywhere, and the worst is coral sand. A very well crafted poem. π

Like it! It’s why I was never fond of taking my kids to the beach. I much prefer to walk along the shore and keep it at that.
