Other than my art objects, (I know, that first one is cheating)I think my most frequent way to frame a shot is through trees or with surrounding plants. The telephone wires overhead in the hummingbird shot give a contrast in frames to the plants below–like the two extremes. The bright orange swatch framed by beach litter is less contrived than the shots through plane and car and house windows. Zoe, about to be released from jail, says she didn’t do it. She was framed!!! This is my third go at trying to find photos for this prompt. The first two groups were erased before I could save them. This one I saved after every photo. Tedious, but I’m finally posting four hours later!! Don’t fail to see the photos in the link below. They are much more inspiring than mine:

Judy you may have left out one of my favorite “framed photos” that you or a friend took. Sorry I liked it enough that I did mess with it.. (only trying to balance the light), I am sending a copy of it via email in case you didn’t want it posted again. SAM

What do you mean “good for you”~? Ha~! I love it and a good photo of you too,,,,,,
I think that you said that it was taken while sitting in a little cafe, in some Mexican town to the North of you before you’ll moved south, was it Mazatlan~? See, I do have a keeper file after all, but I do mess with a picture now and then, at times like I did with removing those wires in front of your “Finca del flores”, , , , , Not to improve them so much as to see them with my own imagination, as though I was there~!

I was in Oaxaca in a little town a bit to the north of it. Photo taken by my friend Linda.

Sometimes when it is stubborn, I just use cut and paste which bypasses an unusual type.

I love the view from your backyard, Judy. Is that Zoe in her crate? Her puppy eyes say “I’ve been framed!”
LikeLike
Ha yes. Her crate is now without a cushion because she has eaten three of Morries!!!! So I took hers and put it in Morrie’s crate. Poor guy. He puts up with anything from the girls. She has another bed inside my room that she has not touched. Just eats up Morries!! This one I put vinegar around the edges and so far she hasn’t touched it. Crossed fingers.

and the hill to the right… that was there when I arrived! ;o)
Thanks, Amy. I looked through a lot of photos before finding these. I usually just go for the main subject, I think. This prompt made me more aware.
