“Acorn” for MVB, Sept 7, 2025

When I saw this prompt, I just had to reblog this blog of mine from 2018. It was too perfect.

Mystery Solved

My friend Larry Kolczak has allowed me to copy this hilarious email sent to me.  I’ve been trying to convince him he should have a blog himself. Do you agree?

Larry has a monthly column in the Ojo del Lago, which publishes online as well. Google Ojo del Lago and then search for his name to read his other stories. They are always a hoot.

Hysterical! Eco-friendly isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Years ago, I gave my mother a wall hanging made of dried red chilis. One day, they all exploded. And coated the kitchen with sticky seeds.
