A lekythos (plural: lekythoi) is a type of ancient Greek pottery vessel characterized by a long, narrow body, a slender neck. While occasionally used for personal grooming at baths and gymnasiums, lekythoi were most famously used in funerary rites—placed in graves or used to pour libations for the deceased.

Looking forward to ‘extra-sensory wifi’! Sadly ‘what new weapons will be learned’ is the way things are likely to go. Great write Judy 👏

Judith,
I wanted to comment on the love poem but it didn’t come up. I just bought If I Were Water. As I sit having breakfast, I realize I will not get much done today until after I read the whole book. I will add a review when I finish but Footnote to the Revolution and the “bulletin already starting its trajectory through the minds of men….is powerful.

Thanks, Lisa. I had to take a photo as WP no longer centers the original post when requested. You have to click again on the title of the blog to get things to line up as you wish.

Thanks, Reelika. I guess wifi is more an imitation of esp than the reverse.
