I went to the orchid show up on the mountain in Mazamitla today. This is one of the beauties I saw.

These wild orchids feel right at home in my royal poinciana tree. I forget they are there, tucked away in the branches and then suddenly one day look up and they are blooming. Like a gift of flowers from a mysterious benefactor.
