Almost Flowers

Saw these gorgeous flower-covered bushes from a half block away, but when I arrived, this is what I found:

Oh well, close enough! I’ve never seen a pencil plant succulent change color like this.  Beautiful!

Flor or Faux??? Flower of the Day 11-28-15

Flor or Faux?

Some of these lovely blooms are flowers and some aren’t.  Can you tell the difference?

IMG_4100The Latin name of Hen and Chicks is Sempervivum, which means “live forever” because they are so easy to grow and propagate so easily.  One of my favorite succulents.
