Mostly Nameless in Mexico
Though Apple named my laptop “Mac,”
I don’t name things that don’t talk back!
(Since my prompt is longer than my poem today, hope you’ll go back and also read one of my earlier prompts. There are 211 others posted prior to this shorty!!)
Good one, Judy!

John—Gave you a little extra time in your day by keeping it short this morning!!! I’d love to know how you wound up in Singapore. Is there a story there? Of course there is. Perhaps you’ve already written it and I just don’t know where to look for it. I think I told you I was last there in 1972. Judy

Mine certainly do. Sometimes they even initiate the conversations!!!

I believe Mac talks to me, but in his own language. There’s this maddening little ball, smaller than a marble, which begins to roll around in a mesmerizing way, but I know enough about it now to not be mesmerized–paralyzed with fear is more like it, for when that ball rolls, all the innards of my Mac freeze.
