Hibiscus with Worst House Guest Scenario
Some leaf predator has been busy on this hibiscus leaf, and the severed bud caught in it is a bit the worse for wear as well, but it makes for an interesting picture; and I think the bud to the right in the first picture has escaped devastation, at least.
The culprit causing all this damage is a little worm hidden in this foam.

But this bud and these blooms that will unfurl as soon as the sun is fully out seem to have escaped damage.

Well, even bugs gotta eat. I just would like them to not always eat MY plants. Share the hunger. There are many plants. Eat weeds, not hibiscus!

My Grandmother, who was from the Philippines and lived in Hawaii had the most beautiful garden- she among other things orchids. She had an orange tree, banana tree, macadamia nut trees – everytime I see these posts I start looking at my suitcase and start to think it’s time to go home for awhile.

It’s nice to have relatives or friends in wonderful places. I have a stepson there I should go see. He has a darling baby I’ve only seen on Facebook.
