Little Duck had many adventures at my house before flying off to live in Missouri.  These are the few adventures I caught him in.

I told Little Duck smoking would stunt his growth, but he never listens to me.
He told me he could quit cold turkey anytime he wanted to, but. . .
I don’t quite think he understood the concept.
I finally hid his tobacco and papers, but I didn’t bother to hide this bottle because I knew he couldn’t reach it anyway. But he outsmarted me. Big Duck scorns in the dark background.
Then he decided he’d found religion, but I couldn’t convince him that Catholics don’t really believe in the concept of totem poles and that especially in Mexico, someone was bound to consider it as sacrilegious.
When Big Duck offered to edit his work, Little Duck insisted on staying annoyingly close as he read.
So, Little Duck decided to explore a bit. The recumbent nude bronze seemed to him like a pony ride created just for him.
Playing “king of the mountain” is no fun at all if you have no one to lord it over.
He had a few adventures in the kitchen as well.
He thought he’d make some breakfast, but no one told him that a watched toaster never pops up.
He thought if he got closer, it might help.
and for once, he was right.
Next he thought he would supervise Yolanda, making sure she got her pieces evenly measured.

Eventually, Little Duck got to leave his house for the first time to attend a reading. Here he is with Big Duck and the friend who gave him to Big Duck for his birthday.
He was sure Big Duck would enjoy his close company as a means of overcoming the jitters, …
Here he is teaching Big Duck to accent his reading with fine gestures. As you can see above, Big Duck didn’t follow his advice.
Perhaps he’ll have more success in teaching the dog to quack.

    Nope. Little Duck may have his vices, but as vices go, his are straight ones. He’s also voting for Trump, I have heard. He likes his hairdo. You could perhaps straighten him out?

    Little duck sure gets into a lot of things. A very curious little duck I must say. I thought he would make a cute children’s book until you told me about his political leanings. Ha ha Ha

    It’s a slightly profane children’s book. Perfect for aging children — of all ages. Or may just childish older folks? One way or the other, I declare you the winner of this week’s Odd Ball competition. Who could keep up with such a story? So … how does Morrie feel about Little Duck?

      I took little Duck to Missouri before Morrie could wreak his havoc upon him. He now resides there and I have asked Big Duck (aka okcforgottenman) to fill us in on his newest adventures. He’s promised to do so.

      Marilyn, Little Duck & Morrie have not been introduced. Morrie arrived at Judy’s after Little Duck moved in with me here in Missouri. (EDIT: Jinx, Judy! We’re synced up yet again!)
