I love the way you captured the light coming through the petals. Just a gorgeous photo. Clicked on it, and saw the little fly or bee!!!

I’m a little surprised this is the first time you’ve shown visitors on your hibiscus — here, they are known for attracting ants! A beautiful shot!

I think I have one other photo of an ant on a hibiscus that I’ve published, Janet, but I’m not willing to go looking for it, so I’m sure you are not! I remember you saying before that you were surprised I didn’t have more as you had always seen them teeming with ants. Perhaps here the ants have more to deflect their interestQQQ

The ants here enjoy hibiscus and roses (where they draw aphids). Our ants are a little different than yours, too — perhaps they have different food preferences.
